University of Puget Sound - Baker Stadium

D.A. Hogan & Associates was the prime consultant for the renovation of the existing natural turf field and rubberized running track at Baker Stadium. The project included installation of retaining walls and widening the track radius to provide a 70 yard soccer field width. The field was installed with a sand/organic base, subsurface drainage, and an automatic irrigation system. The track work included a new asphalt base, interior trench drain, and polyurethane rubberized surfacing. The track work also included permeable “D areas” for high jump, pole vault, long jump/triple jump, and steeplechase. The throwing events were also renovated with the installation of a rubberized javelin runway and a new hammer/discuss cage.
