Lambeau Field, Green Bay Packers

Following the success of the Packer’s practice field renovation projects, D.A. Hogan & Associates was retained to provide design and construction administration services for the renovation of the playing field at Lambeau Field. The renovation includes installation of sand based natural turf surface with new subsurface drainage, hydronic heating, and irrigation systems. The project also includes replacement of the perimeter storm drainage system and heated perimeter concrete paving with resilient rubberized surfacing.

Fields Inc. was selected as the builder for the project during the design phase of the project. This allowed for constructability and schedule collaboration during the design phase. In order to provide the maximum establishment time for the natural turf prior to the start of the season, the field construction started immediately after completion of the football season. The bulk of the excavation and utility work occurred during winter conditions.
