Ron Tonkin Field, Hillsboro Hops

D.A. Hogan & Associates was the field consultant for the synthetic turf field at the new Hillsboro Baseball Stadium, Ron Tonkin Field. Our work included collaborating in the team design effort to confirming site selection and orientation and introduction of multiple off-season recreational sports components into the field design. D.A. Hogan & Associates also provided the detailed design and construction QC functions associated with the field drainage, base, surfacing system fencing, ball control, rigging, and indoor batting cages.  The stadium is home to the 2014 Northwest League Champions, the Hillsboro Hops, who are an affiliate of the MLB Arizona Diamondbacks and compete in Class "A" Short Season ball.
