Skyline Community Sports Field

D.A Hogan & Associates was the prime consultant for the Community Fields at Skyline. Developed through a collaboration between the City of Sammamish and the Lake Washington School District these new multi-purpose synthetic turf fields include two lighted soccer and lacrosse fields with a baseball and softball overlay and a football practice area. This facility benefits the community with public recreation use at night and on weekends when not in use for high school activities. An entry gate and signage provide recognition of the city’s participation of the facility. The project included the construction of 145,000 square feet of infilled synthetic turf field system. A new subsurface drainage system and permeable aggregate base were installed along with new fencing, backstops, batting cages, shot put and discus area, new asphalt paving for pedestrian and vehicle access, sports field lighting and restroom facilities.
