Acting as consultant to the general contractor for the project, D.A. Hogan & Associates performed submittal, drawing, and specification review for the field portions of the work, as well as construction monitoring and inspections during installation. The Foreman field project was the conversion of a knitted nylon synthetic turf field hockey field to an all rubber infill football field. The renovation was performed within the existing stadium and included new subsurface drainage and permeable aggregate base. All markings, lettering, and logos are permanent inlaid lines that included custom colors. The field will be home to the first season of Monarch football for Old Dominion University since 1940.
