Oregon State University - Reser and Goss Stadiums

D.A. Hogan & Associates was Oregon State University’s consultant for the synthetic turf surfacing replacement at Reser Stadium. Our work included consulting with the University on field drainage, edge anchoring, and transitions. The existing field slopes and drainage system were evaluated and documentation was prepared to identify field base construction options. The options were evaluated with corresponding cost estimates to establish the project parameters and the basis for construction. 

After the Beaver’s 2006 NCAA Championship season, work started on the renovation of their infield at Goss Stadium. D.A. Hogan & Associates prepared the design and construction documents for the project that included removal of the existing clay and grass surfaces and replacement with infilled synthetic turf. The new infield includes subsurface drainage and permeable base materials that allow for excellent playing conditions throughout wet weather conditions prevalent in early spring. D.A. Hogan & Associates also provided construction administration services for the project.
