D.A. Hogan & Associates was the field consultant for the new Football & Soccer Stadium at the University of California at Davis. The field includes an infilled synthetic turf surface over a crushed stone base and subsurface drainage system. A sprinkler water system was included to provide surface cooling during hot summer weather. Our work included an initial comparison and evaluation of natural and synthetic turf system options. After the University elected to proceed with a mono-filament synthetic surface, we prepared the design and construction documents for the field. During construction our work included construction administration and inspections.
