Hiawatha Playfield
The City of Seattle and D.A. Hogan & Associates worked together to renovate a historical park designed by the Olmsted Brothers. The Hiawatha Playfield project, originally built in 1911, includes the replacement of the main ballfield with an infilled synthetic turf surface, as well as the installation of a new rubberized, 3-lane running track for school team practice and community use. D.A. Hogan worked with the Friends of Seattle’s Olmsted Parks to maintain the original design intent of the Olmsted Brothers.
