Oregon State University - Outdoor Recreation Complex

D.A. Hogan & Associates was the field engineer for the Outdoor Recreation Complex at Oregon State University. DA Hogan facilitated development of the recreation program as it relates to the sighting and placement of athletic field activities including multiple overlapping softball, soccer, flag football, and lacrosse fields, provided engineering for field grading and subsurface drainage design, and facilitated a field surface product selection process and consulted on the subsequent contract negotiation. D.A. Hogan & Associates also assisted with construction contract administration by performing relevant submittal review and processing, scheduled observations and inspection, and documentation. The 325,000sf recreational field complex, known as Student Legacy Park, became available for student use beginning in January 2011. For the McAlexander Field House Improvements, D.A. Hogan provided consultation on product selection, relevant submittal review and processing, scheduled observations and inspection, and documentation for the indoor soccer field and batting cages.
