After DA Hogan & Associates successfully completed the field and track complex at Western Washington University in 1997, they were retained by the University to provide design, consulting, and construction administration services for the track and field surfacing renovation and replacement in 2008. This work included adding new rubberized surfacing and applying additional surfacing materials to the track and field event areas. The project also included removal of the existing turf and installation of infilled turf on an existing elastic layer pad. The field has permanent markings for football, soccer, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, rugby, and flag football.
