Adidas Training Facility - Portland Timbers
D.A. Hogan & Associates was the lead site designer for the Portland Timbers and Turner Construction in the development of the new Major League Soccer Training Facility in Beaverton, Oregon. The Timbers partnered with the Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District, providing significant tenant improvements in the form of new offices, locker rooms, and a player lounge, as well as two full-sized lighted soccer pitches, one natural grass, the other infilled synthetic turf. The site is well-landscaped, and integrates well with the adjacent park and residential neighborhood. In addition, major site infrastructure improvements were required in the form of water, power and sewer upgrades, as well as the expansion of existing driveways and parking areas. A public plaza was also provided. The project was completed in the spring of 2012. Photo credits: Craig Mitchelldyer
